A FICTIONAL WORKED EXAMPLE
Three quotes.
Three different next steps.
A weekly review starts with what the customer actually said.
These are invented scenarios to show the work. They are not customer records, testimonials or revenue results.

Office-cleaning quote
Known: The customer asked whether inside windows were included. No answer is recorded.
Next action: Confirm the scope internally, then answer the question.
“Thanks for asking about the inside windows. I’m checking the quoted scope and will confirm what is included before we discuss the next step.”
The account manager checks the draft and decides when to send it. No price or scope is invented.
02 · RESPECT THE AGREED DATE
Warehouse proposal
Known: The customer said their team would review the proposal next Thursday.
Next action: Assign an owner and set a review for after that date. Check for a reply first.
Current draft: None. Another reminder before the agreed review may add noise.
A dated next action can be more useful than another email.
03 · CLOSE THE RECORD
Declined floor-care quote
Known: The customer selected another provider and asked not to receive further follow-up.
Next action: Record the decline, suppress further outreach and close the quote.
Current draft: None.
A declined quote is not an excuse to start another sequence.
